Royal London is consulting on the emerging masterplan for the development of Davenport Green, bringing forward proposals comprising high-quality new homes, new transport infrastructure, a new Rural Park, community and local retail uses, as well as extensive employment opportunities.

Davenport Green is allocated for development in Places for Everyone (PfE) under the allocation title of Timperley Wedge. PfE is the long-term strategic development plan of nine Greater Manchester boroughs. Earlier this year (March 2024), Trafford Council voted to approve PfE, and the plan was officially adopted by the Greater Manchester Combined Authority (GMCA).
