Hale Village Library – News Update

A message from Jane Leicester, Green Party Councillor – Hale Ward

With regards to the library, we are constantly chasing this up. I am waiting to hear something this week as the necessary people were on annual leave. There have been delays because of the contractual issues between the three parties. The last that I heard there was light at the end of the tunnel. The roof has been repaired after the tree fell down in the storm. Hopefully, I will know more soon. It has been a source of frustration for everyone.

The library have set up a temporary pop up library on Tuesday afternoons at St Peter’s as a stop gap.
