PLEASE NOTE – The date has been changed to Friday 3rd June, 12noon to 3pm on Woodstock Park.
Please do put this in your diary.
We will be asking partners/volunteers/helpers to be on site from 11am to help set up and then to also help pack away and clean the site from 3pm to 4pm.
We are looking at providing some live music on the day so if you know anybody who is willing to perform for us please do let me know. We have already received permission from the PRS to play recorded music as well as live music either acoustically or using a sound system.
A number of you have already volunteered to help on the day so I will be in touch soon to discuss where you can help. Thank you all for offering your services. We are looking for someone to provide sports and games on the day so if you know of anybody or can provide this please let me know. Thank you
G-Force will provide two bouncy castles as well as arts, crafts and game stalls, floor games, mats to sit on and chairs too to be put around the site, we are also providing a subsidised BBQ where burgers and hot dogs can be purchased for just 50p each. Other refreshments will also be on offer. We are also providing a giant celebration cake to be cut and shared on the day with those who come along.
We are currently looking for Stewards to help manage the site on the day and First Aiders if anyone can help. If you know anyone or would like to help with this please do get in touch. If you would like to provide a stall or activity (or raise some money for your group, perhaps via a tombola) please do let me know.
Also, if you have any questions please do email me. I will also be arranging a meeting before the event so we can meet and finalise the details for the event.
We are hoping that this will be a memorable event for our community and a real way that our Partnership can raise its profile locally as well as show how we can work together for the benefit of our community. Please do take the opportunity to get involved.
